Anybody else having trouble doing data pulls from the FPDS database? Converting results to CSV files has been incredibly sluggish at best to nonfunctional at worst. cc: @ThePulseGovCon
@ThePulseGovCon But today it started acting up again. FYI I cleared my cache and it seemed to work... somewhat. So that might help if you're having the issue, but overall seems like a bigger performance issue.
Unpopular opinion: as someone that works day in & day out in #GovCon proposals & BD - & literally lives in FBO & FPDS - the “new” https://t.co/IrT2ta2qMT FBO is worse than FBO now. It may look “prettier”, but it’s just as tone deaf as the current system is now. Sorry, not sorry.
Question: why is it unclear what the value is of Cerner's VA scheduling software contract? Where is the transparency in this process? https://t.co/A3GxxBxT8F
During the shutdown @boozallen diverted billable resources toward nonbillable activities: training, bid & proposal activity, etc. Scale and healthy financials help Booz absorb the disruptive impact where small companies would have to consider layoffs.
Booz Allen Hamilton continues its string of impressive performance. 22.5% YTY growth in funded backlog instills confidence in near-term growth. 29.8% YTY growth in priced options offers long-term growth upside, contingent on delivery execution
@rosswilkers@CACIIntl I don't know that we're ready for a metric to quantify that. It's really more of a gut feeling kind of thing. And my gut is telling me this one's going to help CACI pursue market share of firms like Harris.
Mastodon Design is such a bad MFer that it works on programs called EKRAKEN and Three Beasts and doesn't even provide content on its website except for a Contact button. Very excited about this and the LGS acquisitions by @CACIIntl announced today
The caveat, of course, is future outlook. Backlog was down 20% sequentially. 4Q traditionally weak, once again earnings commentary should be interesting, sure to be talk of shutdown impacts.
Nice quarter from @GDIT; divestitures had less impact than I expected, and margin rose above 8%, indicative of normalization of operations post-CSRA M&A. Looking forward to earnings call commentary.
