@BHasselhof97@CombatESportsM @MartialMind1 I know you can turn the effects off, and it might seem like a small gripe to some; but those cheesey on-screen visual effects combined with the plastic looking fighter models really ruined the immersion and realism of UFC 4 to me.
@BHasselhof97@CombatESportsM @MartialMind1 Most of the people playing these types of games are adults, and we don't want cheesey on screen Red/Blue visual effects for Rocked/stunned animations in a game that's supposed to simulate the real-life brutal sport of MMA. Please fix this @EASPORTSUFC
@BHasselhof97@CombatESportsM @MartialMind1 Agreed, I was really hoping that they'd go for something like Undisputed 3 or even Fight Night for stunned effects. I don't mind visual effects, I just really hate color schemes in a game that's supposed to be realistic. Hopefully they can address this before or after launch.
@EASPORTSUFC@dc_mma I think that a proper showcase of the Frostbite engine is in order, and a full match in-engine is necessary in order to prove the aforementioned stigma false. I think that's where the reveal faltered, there just wasn't enough actual in-engine gameplay shown to appease fans.
@EASPORTSUFC@dc_mma Seeing as UFC 5 looks almost exactly like UFC 4, many people are questioning the move to the Frostbite engine. From a purely graphical perspective, the gameplay snipits shown didn't look any different from UFC 4. Perhaps that's simply due to the video being compressed on YouTube
@EASPORTSUFC@dc_mma I'm just hoping for faster, more fluid striking animations; with an emphasis on brutality. I want to be able to throw fluid combinations(like UFC 2) but with even more ragdoll animations. The striking in UFC 4 is too stiff and rigid, combinations don't flow as well as they should
@EASPORTSUFC@dc_mma I believe that in order to truly convince people otherwise, they're going to need to see a full match play out; otherwise everyone is just going to keep calling UFC 5 an update to UFC 4 or UFC 4.5
@EASPORTSUFC@dc_mma Overall I liked the small number of new animations I saw, but if you want to convince people that UFC 5 isn't just an updated reskin of UFC 4; then we're going to need to see a lot more variety of striking animations in future reveals as there wasn't enough shown to prove it.
@EASPORTSUFC@dc_mma Complaints cont.
Featherweight fighters are the same height as Herb Dean
The Jones vs Stipe match looked exactly like it was copied from UFC 4
The KO Knee animation at 0:55 is in both UFC 3&4
Most of the "new" features talked about are already in UFC 4.
@EASPORTSUFC@dc_mma While I liked the majority of what I saw in the new reveal, I do have some complaints:
I don't like the damage indicators below the HUD
The main main & HUD look exactly like UFC 4
Most of the striking animations look exactly like UFC 4
Charles Oliviera's Hair looks way off
@EASPORTSUFC So what exactly was the point in giving us a roadmap, if the only two dates listed are the ones everyone is already aware of? This has got to be the most pointless roadmap I've ever seen for an upcoming video game. Do better next time EA, we want actual dates for these events.
@Streva_Kobe@fuck_pipskii@ChrisBerry1997@Tecky_twt@IGN Yeah, everyone saw that one coming from a mile away. I mean how much more obvious could they have made it? Next time just have the villain(s): parents, partner, love interest, or sibling(s) etc hold up a sign that reads "Villain's entire motivation right here"
@Streva_Kobe@fuck_pipskii@ChrisBerry1997@Tecky_twt@IGN While the dlc for TTW was poorly done and overpriced for such a lack of meaningful content. No one who bought the season pass thought that they would be getting four $10 dlc that could each be beaten in only a few minutes, with zero substance such as plot or character development
@Streva_Kobe@fuck_pipskii@ChrisBerry1997@Tecky_twt@IGN I will say that I loved the story in TTW, at its core is a continuation of Tina trying to overcome her grief and the loss of Roland; someone she looked up to as a big brother. Now the gameplay however is a different story, and while certainly fun; the endgame lacks any variety.
@Streva_Kobe@fuck_pipskii@ChrisBerry1997@Tecky_twt@IGN The story in BL3 is so bad, that I played the full game with the dialogue on mute while leveling my second character; and it was actually a fantastic experience. For me, the terrible writing absolutely killed the game; so much so that I never bothered to play the dlc.
@Streva_Kobe@fuck_pipskii@ChrisBerry1997@Tecky_twt@IGN I couldn't agree more. How did we go from one of the most iconic villains in gaming history with Handsome Jack, to what can easily be summed up as two failed Twitch streamers with mommy and daddy issues? I was blown away, like really? THOSE two are the Antagonists!?
