I had dinner with a friend from Germany tonight and asked why the AfD is so successful.

He told me about a 55-year-old German woman who lost her sight. Her disability allowance application was rejected, so she now has to work in a call center.

At the same time, a story went viral in Germany about a Syrian man with several wives and countless "children" pocketing €100k in welfare benefits, despite polygamy being illegal in Germany. €100k plus free rent and free healthcare, paid from the taxes of the blind woman working in the call center.

While we're at it, your religious holidays are a bit too much; they could offend the Christian community, so we'd appreciate it if you'd discreetly eliminate them. Thanks.

In schools and workplaces, our children and employees must be able to wear large crucifixes, say prayers, eat ham sandwiches in the cafeteria, and learn Christian principles without anyone getting criticized. We also demand chapels or Christian prayer rooms in every building, plus translators, because we have no intention of learning Arabic.

If any of this is rejected, please send a list of police station addresses so we can report you for discrimination, Christianophobia, racism, and anything we don't like.

That’s William Priestap ... one of the FBI’s top counterintelligence officials ... scribbling his own fucking concern before they even sat Michael Flynn down.

Then watch this steaming pile of institutional horseshit unfold.

The FBI had already found no derogatory information on Flynn. They were ready to close the case. Done. Over. Nothing there.

Peter Strzok stepped in like the smug little bureaucratic assassin he is.

The case stayed open.

They pivoted to an interview.

These assholes sat around discussing how to keep Flynn off-guard about the legal danger of lying to agents. They wanted him unsuspecting. They wanted him talking. They wanted the trap.

Then came January 24, 2017.

The agents in the room reportedly thought Flynn appeared truthful.

And somehow ... somehow ... that interview still became the basis for prosecuting him.

Now the declassified handwritten notes make the whole thing look even filthier. Dirtier. More rotten.

The notes say Flynn didn’t remember making four or five calls.

The official FD-302 says he did.

The notes record “Hey don’t do anything.”
The 302 says “It wasn’t, ‘Don’t do anything.’”

That report was entered more than 20 days later.

Then Strzok and Lisa Page got their hands on it and edited the living shit out of it. Strzok even said he was “trying not to completely re-write” the summary. Cute. Real professional.

This is how bureaucratic power destroys a man.

Keep the case alive.
Create the interview.
Shape the record.
Use the record.
Prosecute the target.

And years later, when the handwritten notes finally crawl out of the dark, everyone is supposed to shrug and call it old news.

Then it compared those temperatures to cumulative human CO2 emissions.

They don't match.

From 1899 to 1940, the planet warmed at a rate of 0.022 C per year, even though emissions were low.

Then from 1941 to 1982, temperatures cooled, despite CO2 emissions more than tripling.

From 1983 to 2024, warming returned, but slower than before, at a rate of 0.017 C per year, even as emissions rose 8.6 times higher than during the earlier warming phase.

As the author conclude: "These findings challenge the conventional assumption that human-induced CO2 is the primary driver of global warming."

This is because the strongest warming occurred before major modern emissions kicked in, and later periods with far more CO2 show weaker warming, or even cooling.

Earth's climate is still governed by natural variability.

We are approaching the fifth and last biennial election in the Trump era, and the president has asked voters to make it a referendum on him. Let's take a look at his record.

The tiresome and predictable criticism of a pro-Trump bias will come, as it always does when anyone tries to say anything positive about the president, but let me respond with two points. Firstly, one can dislike Trump and still recognize the accomplishments are real and laudable. If personal dislike for the president prevents someone from seeing that, the real bias problem is with them. Secondly, when 92 percent of media coverage on the president is anti-Trump, balance does not come from repeating what is already deafeningly amplified. It comes from stating the parts that are generally ignored.

The successes are significant and seldom discussed; let's look at the record that most of the press won't print:
• The illegal immigration crisis at the border has been ended
• With it, there has been a dramatic reduction in the horrors of human trafficking, the inflow of lethal narcotics, and cash flowing into the pockets of violent drug cartels.
• Inflation has been cut sharply from Biden levels.
• Crime rates across the country are much lower, with murder rates at a 70-year low.
• Capital has poured into the US in job-creating investment, and no advanced country has generated greater economic growth.
• The country has been liberated from climate theater without abandoning environmental protection.
• Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran have all been stripped of their usefulness as Russo-Chinese allies.
• The Iranian regime is being strangled (and its terrorist proxies with it) at almost no cost in American lives and only slight use of American ordnance. Despite the shrill mantra of the more radical isolationists, Trump kept his word: no forever war, no Iraq 2.0.
• Along with the Abrahamic Accords, Board of Peace and other diplomatic initiatives, despite current tensions, the scaffolding for future peace in the Middle East is the strongest it has been in decades.
• NATO has been reformed from a ragtag of slackers into a self-financing alliance.
• Ukraine has been armed to the point that Russia is fighting a war it looks increasingly unable to win, and the Russians have been forced to import gasoline and diesel for the first time in a generation because of its hobbled oil refining capacity.

This is one of the most persuasive lists of accomplishments of any two-term president since Theodore Roosevelt in 1906.

That a president with this strong a record can still have such a low approval rating is unprecedented and owes to one of his greatest short-comings – the messaging problem. President Trump can draw a crowd and dazzle his supporters like no president since FDR. What he has not yet been able to manage effectively, is use a direct Oval Office address, with a nonpartisan tone, to outline the national interest and ask for the support of the American people for his worthy objectives. Perhaps he is keeping his powder dry. If so, this is the month to use it.

You’ve been lied to about Lindsay Clancy, she wasn’t some struggling mom, she was very privileged

“The 8 month old baby was born. The 3 and 5 year old were in daycare full-time. Patrick took a 12 week paternity leave, and they hired a nanny to help with the newborn baby. After the 12 week leave was over, Patrick could see that Lindsay needed more help and support, so he decided to move his office into home and started working from home.

So they decided they didn't need the nanny anymore because Patrick was gonna stay home, and you guys are saying that this woman had no support? That is false.

A key factor that you guys are missing of this whole entire thing, and you're letting this woman play on your emotions, she was a labor and delivery nurse herself. She was in this career path. Lindsay knew, she knew, if I tell my doctors that I am hearing voices and having thoughts of harming my children, they're going to be taken away from me. She knew that. She is smart, she's calculated, and this was premeditated.

Any woman going through actual psychosis, especially with the career path she was in, being very educated on this, she would have gone to her doctors and said, "I need them away from me because I think I'm gonna kill them." She didn't do that.

Why? Because she wanted the opportunity to kill her three kids. She Googled how to kill. She Googled how long it would take Patrick to go from the house to the restaurant. She murdered one child. Patrick called. She missed the call. She called back after killing one child and said, "We're good here. Everything's fine. We're fine."’

She also gives an excellent medicine breakdown on how there is no way she was actually in the state of mind she claims to be

The only correction here is the children were in preschool not daycare but either way they were not in the home and being attended to at preschool 3 and a half days a week. The callback after the first murder is speculation but she 100% did call Patrick back after he called her. Showing she was definitely not in some psychosis

For decades, mentioning female hormones was treated like caveman misogyny. Women can run corporations. Command armies. Sit in the Oval Office. Make war-and-peace decisions. Handle pressure just fine.

Now hormones matter. Now fragility matters. Now psychiatric distress is the whole damn story. Now personal responsibility gets tossed in a wood chipper.

John List murdered his family after losing his job and spiraling into ruin. Nobody wore sympathy shirts for him. Nobody invented “postjobtum psychosis.” Nobody sobbed about the unbearable hormonal trauma of male unemployment.

The standard changes depending on who committed the horror, and everyone is expected to shut the fuck up and pretend they don’t see it.

If women are tougher, prove it.

Strength without accountability is bullshit branding.
