Speaking as a very short man (like 3-4" shorter than the guy in this article) this is a fascinating story - but it's not about surgery. It's about our culture, body dysmorphia, toxic masculinity, and probably a stigma against therapy.

I went to LA to talk to a surgeon who makes men taller. The surgery costs $75,000. It can make you 3 inches taller, though in some cases up to 5 inches. He told me he’s seen a noticeable increase in men getting the procedure during the pandemic.
