im a big fan of the literal opposite, i want a character to be so unbelievably OP from the very beginning that the everything else in the story seems ridiculous due to the sheer power of said character

I'm a big fan of the ultra specific trope of killing off an important character at the very beginning, only for the story to bring them back to show how OP they were, that they NEEDED to be killed off.
