@necrolipe My guess is Tuesday September 1st, the same day the Switch 2 price increase takes effect. I feel like there's a reason this date was planned and revealed so far in advance. A banger Direct would completely counteract any negative news pertaining to the price increase.
@byinvent@NintyPrime I'm allowed to express my opinion, same as anyone and everyone else does about literally everything under the fucking sun. I'm glad you're excited. Enjoy!
@byinvent@NintyPrime Don't be ignorant just for the sake of being ignorant. You're clearly not bothering to read and understand what we're really saying. I WAS interested in GTA 6, but I don't care for their marketing approach, and now I don't care to see the news about it or play it when it drops.
@dobson_rowan@NintyPrime Excuse me, I have and do work job and I spend my money as I see fit, thank you very much. Also, I you completely read my message, I said that I don't care if I see now anyway because their marketing is turning me off. I probably won't watch it when it comes to YouTube now anyway.
@necrolipe Most have been thinking the September Nintendo Direct will be around the 2nd or 3rd week, but what if we're missing the obvious? The Nintendo Switch 2 goes up in price starting on September 1st, which is a Tuesday. A positive to counteract the negative? I think it's possible. π€
@NintyPrime That's my expectation as well. However, that doesn't rule out a Nintendo Today drop. That's how they've promoted a lot of their 1st party games, including Splatoon Raiders. I wouldn't be surprised to see an Ocarina of Time related Nintendo Today drop sometime this month.
@NintyPrime I think it's worth noting that Nintendo's next financial update is August 6th, and 2 days before their last one on May 8th, they surprise dropped the StarFox Direct on May 6th. Also, what's up with Nintendeal's cryptic July 10th "00840z::b,g,g" post? Maybe 8/4 is significant. π€
