Knicks respond to controversy over championship rings (I can't believe there is a controversy over championship rings). According to an MSG spokesperson: “The company had previously sent out an email to its corporate team as a simulation of a phishing attack designed to strengthen our security against hackers. MSG was recently hacked and extorted using an employee login and password obtained through a similar phishing attack. Using the rings as a lure to gain employees attention was an unfortunate mistake.
The company is gifting more than 275 championship rings and jewelry to players, coaches, employees and other members of the Knicks family, worth more than $3.7 million, in recognition of their contributions and celebrating this achievement.”
@rami_lavi We were a joke for 20 years. People would laugh at you for being a Knick fan. Who gives a fuck if we got people on the bandwagon now. Be secure in your fanhood. It’s ok for people to feel joy.
@nickythegood@BaseballGuyCR Just realized I’ve been going at an adult who tweets about wrestling and makes TikTok’s about dancing with the stars so I guess we’re all losers in this one.
