@MelK_Ed I’ll tell you how. Soccer is just ANOTHER “goal on each end of playing area, governed by a clock” sport. Only with an insanely large playing area, and not a lot of scoring. Baseball - unique from most team sports. The strategy of baseball is under-appreciated by non-fans.
@miller304@REALFLYGUYGBG Very interesting. I can only imagine what is written in there. I suppose if I were on an official tour, we could have walked in. I’d love to do that. Happy I got to at least touch the wall/stand on that warning track. So much history
@miller304@REALFLYGUYGBG Unbelievable. I had the opportunity to go to the monster seats and after the game stand next to the monster. The field manager wouldn’t let us walk in. I get it.
@miller304@REALFLYGUYGBG I would have if I can get them in my area. Baseball (no matter how bad) over soccer. I pick on soccer too much. If fans are passionate about it, I get it.
@Prominent_Bryan Baseball is the most unique sport.
Soccer is just ANOTHER sport with a goal on each end of the playing area, governed by a clock. Same old concept, with a few tweaks. Only the most BORING.
Just like lacrosse, hockey, basketball, American football, etc.
All the same concept
@raph1735187 No. I just find it boring. It’s also just another sport with goals at each end of the playing area, governed by a clock. No different than lacrosse, hockey, and even basketball. American football also has a similar set-up. All the same concept.
Soccer is boring.
Ridiculously large field of play
Weird clock
Hardly any scoring
It’s like a New Year’s Eve celebration when there is a score.
A score features soccer player on knees looking skyward EVERY TIME.
People in bars “act” like they’re into it.
