For those that don't know, Yadier Molina actually tried out for the Reds. During tryouts, Johnny bench saw Yadi and informed the top brass of the reds organization that they need to sign him. Bench went to Yadi and told him that he put in a good word and he would be sure to be playing for the reds. When it came to the draft, the reds never picked him and the Cardinals picked him and the rest is history.
You see this Yadier Molina graphic and your jaw drops. But when you look at the limited number of steals is really interesting to look at because it causes the amount of baserunners he's thrown out to be deceptively low. In fact he's never led the league and several times has been outside the top ten.
No one wanted to tests his arm.
Nuestro coach de Control y Calidad de Receptores, José Molina, representará a Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 en el World Baseball Classic, aportando liderazgo, visión y toda su trayectoria detrás del plato.
