The best actress that ever lived - #francesmcdormand ? #nomadland was exquisite and freeing. Fern made camping look easy and liberating, but always searching for that inner peace and escaping loneliness. I don’t know what she was waiting for but the ride was stunning.
Cried from start to finish watching #TheFather - for such a storyline the acting has to carry and it did. The chemistry between Hopkins and Coleman was mesmerising and disorientating at the same time. It was world class. An emotional reflection of the fight so many families face.
So incredibly disappointed. Have always been a huge fan of #NoelClark work ethic and all of the projects he evidently put his soul into. But to stand on the shoulders of women and call yourself tall doesn’t count. Supporting these women all the way. #BelieveWomen
Am absolutely despo to see #JudasAndTheBlackMessiah - thrilled to see #DanielKaluuya win but feel despair he is the first black actor to EVER win supporting?! Really?!? Also goes without saying #ChloeZhao is QUEEEEEN 👑👸🏻 YES to females in film. Forever.
Have immediately put #Rocks on after watching @BAFTA - a thoroughly deserved #EERisingStar award and leading actress nomination this year. Authentic, raw British film does not get any better.
Like him or hate him, Negan has hands down been one of the best characters. He brought a whole other level to the series and the casting of @JDMorgan made it all the more special. What an amazingggg episode!!! @WalkingDead_AMC#TheWalkingDeadUK#HeresNegan
So many taken and so much pain caused. #ItsASin has been one of my favourite dramas to date. We must continue to talk about HIV and erase stigma. @alexander_olly you STAR ⭐️
Ken Loach in my opinion is one of the few at an influential level that has human rights and fairness at the forefront of everything he does. What is happening to people on modern day Britain is unacceptable and I’m grateful to filmmakers like Ken who bring this to our attention.
I have retweeted a few tweets of support for @KenLoachSixteen. My position is clear- Ken Loach does not have prejudiced bone in his body. He is one of the most honourable men I know and I would stand with him till I could stand no more - then I would kneel. #IStandWithKenLoach
I like to check reviews out before deciding on a film. I do however feel totallllly betrayed by #SaintMaud reviews! If you’re thinking about watching this - skip it. So boring and other than the artistic atmosphere created mainly through cinematography, it really was dull.
Thrilled to see @VanessaKirby recognised for her incred performance in #PiecesOfAWoman . Buzzing to see #DanielKaluuya recognised and AMAZED by how far motion picture has come in terms of streaming. The amount of nods to streaming service funded projects is crazy!
Prior to today, only five women had been nominated at the #GoldenGlobes for Best Director: Streisand, Bigelow, Campion, Coppola, and DuVernay. Now that total rises to eight thanks to Chloé Zhao, @ReginaKing and @emeraldfennell: https://t.co/DJ5jC7uZ9s
I felt every single second of #PiecesOfAWoman . The performances were so raw and real, I felt every inch of pain and emotion. I don’t think I could put myself through watching that again, I’ll remember it forever. @VanessaKirby ❤️
Of all the things on my ‘to watch’ list, I always creep back to favourites. @Film4 showing #DeadMansShoes - in my opinion @Paddyconsidine1 best ever performance. Low budget British films do not get much better than this.
