One day, we’ll look back and say, “Look what the Lord has done. Look at how He sustained my family in that tough time, look at how He healed me from that sickness, look at how He set me free from addiction, how He blessed me.” If it weren’t for His goodness, His favor, His mercy, you wouldn’t be able to withstand what’s trying to stop you.
When you compliment yourself, you’re complimenting the God who made you. You’re saying, “God, I thank You for who I am: blessed, strong talented, worthy, victorious.” That’s giving praise to God.
Faith is not always going to make sense. What God says is not always going to be logical. If you reason it out and check with all the experts and study all the reports, you’ll miss God’s best. God doesn’t ask us to figure it out. All He asks is that we believe.
You don't become a new person by changing your behavior. You discover the person you already are in Christ, and behave accordingly.
Where are you seeing God's goodness lately?

You don’t have to be the strongest person to overcome your obstacles or have great talent in order to do something great. When you honor God with your life, He knows how to take something ordinary and make it extraordinary.
Stay open. God’s ways are not our ways. Sometimes the brook will dry up, sometimes the manna will cease, sometimes someone will walk away. Those aren’t random. They are necessary endings. It’s the hand of God closing one door to open another door.
God brings people in and moves people out. Quit being discouraged over who walked away, who wouldn’t stay. If they left you, you didn’t need them. If they walked away, let them go. God has new relationships, new opportunities.
When you’re feeling like you’re never good enough, believe with your heart and confess with your words. Use your words as weapons to walk in power, and you can overcome every obstacle, climb every mountain, and walk through every valley.
We all have a heart of compassion that God wants to work through toward others, and it can either be open or shut. If it is shut off, God’s love cannot flow out of it. If we’re going to live the abundant life that God has given us, we need to stir up our compassion and say, “God, open my heart and my eyes to see the people who need my love today.”
