@DougieCritchley No different than Sensei and Van Hecke leaving Europe bound Brighton and Bournemouth for Spurs, who have finished 17th twice in a row. Players have their reasons which are not always football related, so calling it souless is a bit harsh.
@SOCobhamPod@MattDaviesAdams@sammyparkin_@liam_twomey I love Cucurella and will be a loss, but I do think his cult-like status and personality on the pitch could sometimes mask his limitations defensively, similar to David Luiz. Part of me would like Chilwell given another chance.
@DougieCritchley I love Cucurella and he will be a loss, but I do think his personality and cult status can sometimes mask his shortcomings, bit like David Luiz. However he has won trophies, become Spain number one LB and decent fee for a player who wants out. Good result for all.
@SOCobhamPod@MattDaviesAdams@reallycerys@liam_twomey Difficult decision . I think ideally Penders has another loan, but the only way to not block his future pathway is to keep Sanchez as number 1, which I think will happen with Penders as back up while he adapts.
@SJohnsonSport Delap needs a loan. It just hasn't happened for him. Imagine Wes will get the most votes, but I have always felt Fofana and Colwill can work, especially with a top coach like Alonso.
@JackPittBrooke After the performances of Colwill against Liverpool and City, while being left footed, I would take him over Stones. Also Watkins over Welbeck.
@DougieCritchley I mean Chelsea thought highly enough to let Poch go and give him the job and after one year on the Champ. Good talent spotting. I I think part of the reason he left is because he was looking to replace Pep, can't blame him.
@danielstorey85 I thought we had little chance, but Carrick staying, Slot seemingly staying, Maresca in if Pep goes, Arteta going nowhere like Flick, Kompany and Enrique. So unless he was tempted by Italy, Chelsea probably the best option if he wants to manage now. Why we have moved quickly.
@DougieCritchley Just feels like the only option if he wants to manage in the PL now. Utd sticking with Carrick, Liverpool seemingly sticking with Slot and Maresca next in line should Pep leave. I imagine it's why Chelsea moved quickly in case things change.
@SOCobhamPod@MattDaviesAdams@liam_twomey I thought Fofana and Colwill were excellent together, showing what could have been had the latter not got injured. Proud of the team.
@DougieCritchley I think thatโs the point though Dougie. Itโs still down to how a ref views a particular incident so hasnโt improved anything. Goal line technology is cut and dry while even if you donโt like the toe offside decisions, it is consistently applied and just a fact for all teams.
@SOCobhamPod@MattDaviesAdams@liam_twomey@sammyparkin_ I would say rest before the FA Cup final, but after watching the A team against Forest at home, I dread to think what the B team would do against Liverpool away.
