INC or BJP? That’s the question.

Looks like Sharad Pawar treats the NCP almost like a corporate asset. Put it on the table, invite competing offers, and choose the one that delivers the maximum value.

Reports suggest that NCP SP has opened channels with both the BJP and the Congress to explore the possibility of a merger. If those reports are accurate, the obvious question is this. Which option offers the best future for Supriya Sule and the remaining NCP leadership?

Sources tell me that five or six of the party’s ten MLAs are strongly in favour of merging with the BJP rather than the Congress. I am also told that some senior leaders too share that preference, while only a small section favours the Congress.

From a purely political perspective, I believe a merger with the Congress could serve the NCP leadership better over the long term. Leaders such as Supriya Sule, Jayant Patil, Jitendra Awhad and others could remain relevant in Maharashtra politics within the Congress. In the BJP, they would be joining an already crowded leadership structure where it could be harder to build the same political space.

The BJP, however, offers something the Congress cannot match in the immediate future. Power. A realistic possibility of ministerial positions at the Centre and in Maharashtra. Those are tangible gains that can be secured quickly.

This is why I would not be surprised if Sharad Pawar ultimately chooses the BJP. In fact, he may already have made up his mind. He knows that the party will eventually have to function without his commanding presence. At that stage, immediate political security for his daughter and his loyalists may become a greater priority than a long term organisational strategy.

If that is indeed the calculation, then this decision will not be about ideology. It will be about succession, survival and securing the strongest possible future for the next generation of the NCP leadership.

१) ज्या आरोपीवर त्यांच्या स्वतःच्या वडिलांच्या हत्येचा ठपका होता, त्याच आरोपीचा मुलगा या युतीत आमदार आहे, त्याच युतीत हे सामील होणार?

२) त्याच आरोपीच्या भगिनी आज त्याच युतीत उपमुख्यमंत्रीपदी विराजमान आहेत, तरीही त्याच युतीसोबत जाणार?

आणि त्यांना खरोखर वाटतं का, की हे सरकार त्यांच्या वडिलांच्या मारेकऱ्याला शिक्षा देईल?

खरंच न्याय मिळेल?

सुनेत्रा पवारांच्या सख्ख्या भावाला शिक्षा करण्याची हिंमत खरंच या सरकारमध्ये आहे का?

भाजपच्याच आमदारांच्या वडिलांविरुद्ध खरंच कारवाई होईल?

हे सगळं उघड्या डोळ्यांनी पाहूनही, ते याच युती सरकारसोबत जाणार?

वडिलांसाठी, न्यायासाठी लढण्याऐवजी, एका मंत्रिपदापायी शरणागती पत्करणार?

A gentle reminder to the Government of Maharashtra: Had they not scrapped the Desalination Plant project in Manori, initiated by us, by now Mumbai wouldn’t need water cuts.

While Mindhe’s illegal government scrapped our project, the new bjp government has approved Gargai Dam- which not only cuts more than 5,00,000 trees in a wildlife sanctuary, but keeps the city of Mumbai monsoon dependent.

And while Maharashtra has no drinking water, the parties in government forget to govern and only indulge in dirt politics of buying out MPs and pride over the end of democracy.

राम मंदिर हे कोट्यवधी हिंदूंच्या श्रद्धेचे प्रतीक आहे. त्यामुळे मंदिर ट्रस्टशी संबंधित व्यक्तींवर आर्थिक गैरव्यवहाराचे संशय निर्माण होत असतील, तर ते अत्यंत गंभीर आणि चिंताजनक आहे.

देणगीच्या पैशांचा आणि मंदिराच्या व्यवस्थापनाचा हिशेब पारदर्शक असायलाच हवा. जर तपासात कुठल्याही प्रकारची अनियमितता, भ्रष्टाचार किंवा गैरव्यवहार सिद्ध झाला, तर संबंधित कितीही प्रभावशाली व्यक्ती असली तरी तिच्यावर कठोर कारवाई झाली पाहिजे.

रामाच्या नावाने राजकारण करणारे आणि नैतिकतेचे धडे देणारे लोक आता मौन का बाळगत आहेत? श्रद्धेच्या नावावर जमलेल्या प्रत्येक रुपयाचा हिशेब जनतेला मिळालाच पाहिजे. कारण राम मंदिर हे कुणाच्या खाजगी मालमत्तेचे नव्हे, तर संपूर्ण देशाच्या श्रद्धेचे केंद्र आहे.

“जय श्रीराम”च्या घोषणा देणे सोपे आहे; पण रामाच्या नावाने आलेल्या देणग्यांचा पारदर्शक हिशेब देणे ही खरी परीक्षा आहे. सत्य काहीही असो, ते देशासमोर आलेच पाहिजे. 🔥✊
