Hopefully Victor Wembanyama knows that if he loses in the Finals at 22 years old, he will no longer be eligible to ever be considered better than Michael Jordan.
If I’m crashing the boards as a rotational guy for a trip to the NBA finals, I’m doing the same thing, you don’t want to get hit? Get out of the way and let me get the board, if not you’re getting hit.
Here’s LeBron (same age as Wemby) scoring 29 of the Cavs final 30 points, including the game winner to close out a double overtime game on the road in the ECF 2007.
KD hasn’t made it to the Conference Finals since Golden State
Steph has missed the playoffs in 4 of the last 7 seasons
Jokic/Giannis both have 1 title and 2 conference finals apps in their entire career
But somehow LeBron’s a failure for *only* winning 1 title, making 2 conference finals apps, and 6 playoff apps with the Lakers
Got it…
Out of 57 playoff series. Mind you Kobe got swept 3 times in 44 playoff series and spent the last few years of his career not making the playoffs.
Counting how many times a great player got swept is dumb and doesn’t mean anything.
The most ironic part of LeBron hate is that, by simply hating on him at this stage, is to admit he is the best ever, since you're admitting you hold him to a standard you don't hold any other player to. Why? because literally no other player ever has gotten to the stage LeBron is right now.
It's a hilarious paradox, to criticize LeBron now is to admit he's the best ever. But that's what LeBron haters get for allowing their pathological hatred/insecurity to override their common sense for the last 23 years.
The thing that I hate about how niggas ina media talk about the bubble is they act like the lakers where a 8th seed and bron was averaging 18 points on 40% from the field before covid happened .
The lakers were dead ass the best team ina league offensively and defensively .bron was neck and neck with Giannis for mvp and AD was neck and neck with giannis for dpoy.bron was still the best player in the entire league and had just dropped off Boston ,the bucks and the clippers before the covid .they were the favorites to win that year and smoked everybody ina west in 5 games .this shit is beyond revisionist
Today was James Harden’s 182nd career playoff game.
It was the 36th time he’s had 3 or fewer made field goals. Nearly 20% of his career playoff games.
It was the 46th time that he’s had as many or more turnovers than made field goals. More than 25% of his career playoff games.
@TexasMBB Coaching malpractice defensively- not even the final play which was the worst of the bunch. Matchups were bad, rotations were bad, coaching bigs how to deal w Purdue’s bigs physicality. Mark is limping around trying to guard Braden Smith. Swain jumping around. All bad.
There really should be a 4th official in basketball. Plays like this off a steal at the top of the key there’s no way the trail official can make it to the new lead in time to get these calls right. Pace of play has changed but officiating hasn’t changed with it.
@BleedBNetwork@Peytoncj05 You can call a timeout as the bucket getting team from the time the ball goes thru the net to the time the official makes the ball available for play (starts his count) count does not start when the first player touches it thru the net
@WVUBagMan Plays a factor for sure, but when you play on glass and sweat gets on it, it doesn’t wipe off like hardwood it’ll be really hard to keep players off the ground hope there’s no serious injuries
@RyanDecker_ Noticed some slipping during the WBB tournament.
Curious if they had a solution for that, or if the problem would be amplified during the MBB tournament.
