Husband, father, youth pastor, coach, and esports fan... Trying to make the world better one child at a time

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@BabaMal2 @TheConnorPils 40/40 is also historic because only he and Ohtani have done it not on steroids.

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ZDS_1941 @paul_can @DannyViveros11 @DanClarkSports I can respect that. I don't think he's Judge either. BUT I can't hold 2 road games against him. I know it's technically the playoffs, but that isn't even a full 3 game road series. A real playoff series will give you at least one home game...

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ZDS_1941 @paul_can @DannyViveros11 @DanClarkSports Or he could be Aaron Judge

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@bobby__buche @Kirsten_Tanis1 @AllAshworth You don't know ball at all. There is no photo of him hitting Hurts head, because it never happened. Not dirty or late and the flag was thrown because refs make bad calls sometimes. Or do you think every hit on Mahomes must be dirty because the refs throw a flag? 🤡

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ZDS_1941 @paul_can @DannyViveros11 @DanClarkSports Because he had the most innings played and the most chances in CF in all of baseball. He is one of only 2 CF in all of baseball with a dWAR over 2. He is also top 5 in range. Also, there are bad defenders with 0 errors (see Jakob Marsee 0 E in 150 games and -.6 dWAR).

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ZDS_1941 @paul_can @DannyViveros11 @DanClarkSports You have to be trolling. Below avg defense? Every expert, literally every one, says he's the best defensive OF in baseball and most believe he is the best defender period. Last post on this topic. As they say, the best ability is availability. He played all 162 games. PCA = MVP

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ZDS_1941 @paul_can @DannyViveros11 @DanClarkSports Most managers would rather have a complete season from the best position player (offense and defense). Once again if they're picking a player on potential, its Ohtani every time, but if they're picking which completed season this year? They are all picking PCA.

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@OmarGod20 @KyleBrandt Is this sarcasm? Dude, it's literally called ANGRY RUN. That's why he posted angry faces.

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ZDS_1941 @biscuit_not @paul_can @DannyViveros11 @DanClarkSports Dude, he did that for only 15 games, but even 10% of the entire season. He played defense for 0% of the season and he played DH for 120 games. He isn't even top 10 in WAR THIS YEAR! His WAR is HALF of PCA. MVP is not most talented player it's best season. It's PCA by a mile.

[Boston Smalls @smalls2672]

Republicans during the obama era

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ZDS_1941 @paul_can @DannyViveros11 @DanClarkSports A healthy Ohtani pitching at an ace level all season and DH is the mvp. But all you Ohtani fans act like he deserves it just for putting on his uniform, which he didn't even do for 20% of the season and didn't pitch for HALF. He is not even an mvp candidate THIS YEAR.

[MLB @MLB]

The moment Pete Crow-Armstrong joined the 40/40 club 🔥

[Chicago Cubs @Cubs]

History, meet Pete Crow-Armstrong.

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@antitardUSA @_pcarroll @EZBirdie3 @jack_bfr @stoolpresidente Or, and stay with me, Gronk had his helmet on and you can't see him crying. As you see him screaming and rolling around on the ground and couldn't even hobble to the sideline.

[Greg Braggs Jr. @GBraggsJr23]

I've spent the last week showing you every inch of my emotions on the air and even off the air.

Vulnerability should be CELEBRATED!

Who cares if he was emotional. Emotions are what makes us HUMAN.

Jimmy V - Live, laugh, think, cry.

Everyday. That's a good day.

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@Lunges___ We have a beautiful city! Enjoy!

[Brendan Sugrue @BrendanSugrue]

Jay Cutler got killed for not being upset enough about an injury and Caleb Williams is getting killed for being too upset about an injury.

I can't believe we're doing this again.

[Ball State Esports @bsuesports]

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@roque_coral @AdamHoge Dude, you think they sat down and watched the all 22 of every game and graded every player in a could hours? They didn't watch it either. They had AI grade everyone and greed in the video and instead of even having a human smoke test the results, they doubled down on idiocy

[John Purnell @JohnDPurnell]

@ahkmabad @mjmike2323 @TheConnorPils Why would you need to expand it to 50 when only 6 times in 142,000 has someone gone 40/40 and 3 of those were on steroids? And even if you expanded it to the top 142, that is still 1 in 1000 or the top 0.00001%. Every time you post your worse. 🥴
