Would you know I had pneumonia, a heart condition, Stage IV head and neck cancer and I'm 4 weeks out of major abdominal surgery? Appearances don't tell you the whole story. You can see how someone looks, but you can't always see what it takes for them to keep going.

Hope is my favourite form of rebellion. Today, I hoped I'd make it to the park. And I did! It might not sound like much, but after everything my body has been through, this was a breakthrough!

Four weeks ago, I was fighting for my life on ICU. Today I'm fighting to reclaim it. I’m far from recovered and my cancer treatment has been paused but my aim is to get back onto immunotherapy as I get fitter and hopefully my heart condition can be stabilised.
