I remember making this art last year, I call this one "Team Mascots", where we have Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Reimu Hakurei, Shantae, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Bomberman and Kirby.
I remember when i saw an actual sprite rip of Super Mario Undoukai on the Spriters Resource, however... You can actually rip the disassembled parts from that game using MAME's built-in Tile Viewer. And i'll have to say... They look very decent for a 1993 arcade game.
@ModifiedPacMan@saffrox765 Thanks, his design in my drawing is based on his Tadashi Yamashita design. Which is actually my favorite design when i think of Pac-Man.
Well, today is Sonic's REAL anniversary. So to celebrate his 35th anniversary, here's my old fanart i made in 2024 called "Sonic the Hedgehog: The Quiz Adventure". Which is based on the Terebikko games.
Just decided to try my new Pigment Ink Marker i received from my birthday.
I started drawing SpongeBob's pilot design with a pencil, and when i was inking my sketch... Well, it has been a while, but at least i did an alright job at this one. So yeah, that's about it.
@lol_bomber Thanks, those were made before and after the sheet was released on the Spriters Resource last year. Despite some mistakes i made on the sprite sheet itself, i guess it's still useful. If you want to use them for a mod or a fangame.
Also, I'm still working on my new illustration of Tia Langray, and let's be honest here: I think my style has evolved in to an intermediate art style.
If i compare my old drawings from 2008-2021 to the drawings from 2022 to now... I feel like i'm sort of capable of drawing...
Just decided to sketch an obscure character from the fighting game series, Tia Langray from 1996's "Breakers". There were some ups and downs when drawing this character, but i'm planning to finalize this sketch along with my upcoming animated short.
Now that i think about it, I thought i was a fan of the franchise or any type of media i like, in reality, i'm more of an enjoyer than a fan due to my activities of watching, reading and playing things.
Ex: I'm more of a Mario & Sonic enjoyer, because i enjoyed their franchise.
And it was mind blowing when I saw major changes that were later carried over to the 3DS remake, like Bowser's side view, the Heart Block, and the Mario Brothers' second gibberish lines. Those were the inspirations for the then-new sprite rips from the japanese release.
I remember when i was 15 when these livestream videos by a VTuber was released, i was in to learning about the regional differences from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. and i even saw that almost 10 year old comment from the Spriters Resource.

By the way. i'm still working on the storyboard for my first Tahoma2D animation, and i was originally going to make 4 separate scenes in this animation, but since this scene is a little longer than the 1st 2 scenes, i decided to only make 3 scenes instead.
Ya know. When it comes to the "Early Uekawa" art style, I always thought the Sonic Adventure 1 artworks looked weird without the drop shadows from SA2-onwards, so i thought to myself "What would it look like if these artworks had drop shadows?", well... It would look like this:
Okay, i only watched three episodes of that new color correction, and i'll have to say... The colors really feel so right compared to the first version, since the last version of the Dragon Ball color correction looked a little darker and muted, it was great, nonetheless.
I heard Seed of Might made a new color correction of the original Dragon Ball, 'guess i should watch them instantly and make a new palette from the new version.
