@MelonieMac I love the book of James.... These verses are good reminders that the hard times we face aren't just empty struggles they are actually tests that help us grow. Going through tough things builds our endurance and ultimately makes us stronger and wiser.
I've spent over 50 years in dugouts, clubhouses, and locker rooms.
I've been fired. Traded. Started over more times than I can count.
And somewhere along the way, I realized that the lessons I learned the hard way about leadership, about resilience, about showing up for the people around you are actually worth sharing.
And Speaking is one of my favorite ways to do that.
Over the last few months I've had the privilege of getting in front of a lot of rooms.
Corporate teams. Faith-based groups. Baseball organizations. Coaches. Leaders.
And every single time I walk away knowing it matters.
The back half of the year is opening up and I've got room for more.
Got a team that needs a spark, an event that needs a voice, or a room full of people ready to grow?

Make a difference today.
Love, Clint
I know 100%. How depression affects how i think feel and handle daily activities. It's not that easy to just snap out of it I agree. But we could definitely choose action over thought. While I cannot directly force a chemical change in my brain by just thinking differently, I can alter my brain chemistry by acting differently.
Depression creates a negative feedback loop where low energy and low mood lead to inactivity. Inactivity then breeds more negative thoughts, which worsens the depression.
When I choose action over thought, I'm reversing this loop entirely. Taking action even a tiny one creates a positive feedback loop.
It's kind of like changing what i do rather than trying to fix how i feel first.
Our brain physically changes based on our habits. By repeatedly choosing positive actions you actively rewire your neural pathways to build resilience.
I'm sorry you're feeling like crap. I'm just sharing what helps me. Try to find the similarities not the differences. I hope you get out of your funk. I hope you have a good day today.

Midwest gang āĀ Bryce makes a very good point.
By "kinematics," he means wind dynamics. Jet stream winds are stronger in the wintertime. Wednesday's event will feature winter-like jet dynamics.
By "thermodynamics," he means fuel ā summertime warmth/humidity.
Sketchy combo.
@ImmortanZit@driscoll1142 They're being housed into completely separate facilities. The cop is being held in a federal prison and the kid is being held in a state prison.
You can't think your way sober and you can't talk yourself into a better way of life.....
Somebody told me this at an AA meeting on Saturday night. It got me thinking.
I wrote a little something about that this morning. I figured I'd share it with Y'all.
It is so easy to get stuck in your own head, thinking that if you just analyze your problems enough, you will finally fix your life. But you can't think your way out of a bad habit, and you can't just talk yourself into a fresh start. Change does not care about the promises we make to ourselves late at night. It only cares about what we actually do when morning comes.
That is why this idea is so freeing. You don't have to figure everything out all at once before you begin. You just have to change one small action today make one right choice, take one small step and let your mind catch up later.
The mind follows where your actions lead you.
