@LeaderJohnThune Do you mean you'll do everything you can or "everything they let us do"? This is the hill to die on for a great majority of Americans. Elections must be honorable or what are we fighting for?
@ThomasSowell Q: What did Democrat leaders say when Jimmy Carter told them the easiest way to cheat on elections was with mail-in ballots?
A: "Thank you." ๐๐บ๐ธ
@mattvanswol Why do I pay taxes? It's like in Vegas when you let your bet ride -- here it's in the hope that fellow voters will wise up and stop electing Democrats. ๐
@JamesHu27192912 Why do all these essays read exactly alike? Punctuation, structure, tone -- all alike, whether a book review, a profile or mood piece. Is everyone stopping at the same AI pool?
@GuntherEagleman It's not the Reflecting Pool that concerns me. It's that the enemies of the republic have learned to cheat by POLLUTING THE BALLOT POOL. ๐บ๐ธ
Anyone catch last night's Tony Awards โ the โLetโs do the Time Warp Againโ edition?
So many highlights borrowed from Broadwayโs glory years โ "Chorus Line,โ โRagtime,โ "Book of Mormon,โ "Rocky Horror Show,โ โChicago,โ โCatsโ โ it all could have been subtitled โStolen Valor.โ Best new musical was a spoofy melange of past hits, poking fun at all the rubes of small-town Americana. Another nominee was a total fantasy about two tourists traveling safely across Manhattan with a cake. The lone culturally significant entry was a token revival of the decades-old masterpiece, โDeath of a Salesman.โ Otherwise, everywhere you looked were theater kids parading around in glitz and spangles with cross-dressing fabulists scratching their fingernail extensions down the CBS electronic blackboard. You had to be there.
At the root of it all is the protest over the immediate certifying of an election fraught with irregularities. That's why people felt the urgent need to be at there the capitol before the certification. Pence denied the nation (and the world, arguably) the courtesy of an open recount.
@SECNAV A reminder to young minds today: D-Day was more thrilling and inspiring than any fictional showdown between good and evil in Tolkien or C.S. Lewis. Our fathers did it, and many of them did not come home. Respect. ๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ
