You’re having a bad day, you’re not happy with the umpires calls, your body doesn’t feel 💯, you made an error, you walked the batter, you gave up a long ball, you’re not happy with your coaches decisions, you got jammed and your hands hurt, blah blah blah.
One of the best parts of this game is it doesn’t care about all that. It’s not going to wait for you to stop feeling sorry for yourself. It’s not going to wait for you to calm down and be tougher. Your opponents couldn’t care less how you feel. They are waiting for you to slip so they can pounce.
Many players beat themselves for reasons like this. Often it’s not the fact that their opponents are better than them but that they aren’t there yet mentally.
@NCStateBaseball @__lawson22__ @samhighfill11 No defense in both games, look like a little league team. Can some body show us how to run the bases and tag up and can somebody have the left fielder show some effort. Fly ball last and tonight that dropped. If he had gave effort they were easy outs.
