When will US air carriers begin retiring their outdated #md88, #md90, and old #757 aircraft? They are nasty, dirty and smelly.

Does #Delta penalize their pilots if they actually fire up the engines so that their customers can have air conditioning?

Gets better. #Delta closed the cabin doors and promptly announced we are going to be held here at the gate. Still no air.

Could Delta possibly provide air conditioning on their planes while boarding? It is 90 degrees inside this very old MD-90.
