Boys finished 3rd at the league meet today with 3 guys finishing in the top 10. Seniors David Laubenheimer 3rd, Eric Guzman 7th and Junior Patrick Cahill 9th

Girls finished 2nd at the league meet today led by Junior Peyton Matessino with an 8th place finish

Maia Perillo finished off an amazing season with a 4th place finish clearing 11” 5.75” in the Rising Stars section at New Balance Outdoor Nationals!

Junior Maia Perillo placed 5th in Division 1 and 8th in the Federation at the NYS meet!

Boys are League Champs!! Great two days lead by senior Glenn Russell Miller and Freshman Nathaniel Johnson the boys beat Arlington by 6 points!!

Ryan Wisker 2nd in the 3200 and 4th in the 1600
Rocco Bueti 3rd in the 1600
David Laubenheimer 3rd in the 800
Anthony Rosati and Adam Rochester went 2-3 in the Pentathlon

The boys ran a New School Record of 18:24.58 in the boysChampionship 4xmile at New Balance Indoor Nationals to finish in 27 out of 52 teams. Great way to end the season!

The girls 4x200 ended the season on a high note running a 1:49.48 seasons best at Nike Indoor Nationals

Wappingers will be well represented at the State Track and Field Championships. Abby Kowalczyk (RCK) 3000m, Connor Hitt (RCK) 1600m, Maia Perillo (JJ) Polevault, and Arianna Gonzalez (JJ) 300m. Congratulations, and good luck at States @WCSDEmpowers @WCSDAthletic @JJGIRLSXC

Arianna Gonzalez and Maia Perillo both qualified for the NYS meet today. Maia finished second in pole vault and Arianna was third in the 300!

The girls 4x200 also had a second place finish and qualified for nationals!

The grills team finished in 6th place at Section 1 Class AA. Arianna Gonzalez won the 300 in a seasons best time. Maia Perillo won the Pole Vault.

We also had some big PRs Ryan Wisker and Josh Brancamp both had 10sec PRs in the 3200 with Ryan finishing in 4th in 9:49. Russell Miller also had a 4th place finish in the 300 with a big 1.2sec PR running 36.84.

Yesterday at the Section 1 Class AA meet our Boys team finished 4th led by second place finishes by Alec Malles (600) and Liam Taylor-Normoyle (HJ).
