All through the streets,
There is a rush.
A palpable buzzing,
Amid the morning hush.

[John. @JohnJohnAh]

The newest gadget is here,
Mankind's latest heroin.
Our society is addled,
By the narcotic peddling.

[John. @JohnJohnAh]

"To promote growth!
To make you happy!
To Ensure everyone knows!
Of this wonderful technology!"

[John. @JohnJohnAh]

People call it sound science,
And even sometimes evolution.
But try as we might,
This fate seems to be the final human destination.

[John. @JohnJohnAh]

With freedom stripped,
And cages set in stone.
All hints of a collective gone,
With narry a person to bemoan.

[John. @JohnJohnAh]

With bowed heads,
And faces of melancholy.
Countenances play host,
It seems, to a brooding symphony.

[John. @JohnJohnAh]

All through the streets,
There is a hush.
A palpable silence,
Amid the morning rush.
