Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro has been in prison since September 8, 2025. His wife died while he was detained, and he was denied the chance to give her a final goodbye.

Yesterday, yet another bail application was rejected, pushing the matter to September 18. He will now spend a year and 10 days in prison without trial.

His crime? Supporting Bobi Wine and NUP.

This is not justice. It is political persecution.
