@GetSpectrum It took awhile to write this so don't discard please. Thus far my experiences with Spectrum since they purchased Cox have been extremely negative. Firstly, when I initially contacted you to downgrade my internet because I don’t use that much internet in a year, I was put on the phone with the most stuttering unqualified girl I’ve ever had to deal with but since I’ve been told I’m way to nice on the phone I went along with her spiel. I told her about the wanting the downgrade and I thought she was going to honestly help me out, but the downfall occurred when she started trying to sell the free mobile phone line. Stupid me gave her the info needed to access my phone and she found out I was still under contract with T-Mobile about the same time I found out that after one more payment to them would make my bill a lot smaller so I said no to that purchase and wanted to continue with what I wanted but things got screwy after that. After about an hour of so she put me on hold and eventually hung up on.
Secondly,I tried calling back and got a clueless individual who worked too hard not to do what I wanted him to do, but then I started having problems with my phone, couldn’t connect my Bluetooth to verify something the representative wanted from me so he ended up putting me on hold and hung up on me as well, the third call back I was beginning to have real problems with my phone but I was still trying until I heard the same lines coming out of his mouth as I did with the previous two. So I hung up on him and began working on my phone.
So the third and final straw just for that day, is after spending hours trying to fix my phone, I discovered the name of the program that was wrecking my my phone. It was a a program someone had to install and that person was the first employee that actually got access to my phone. It’s a nasty program that destroyed my Bluetooth and not even the desperate erasing of my eSim could get rid of the program.
So this brings me to my latest problem with Spectrum. Normally I’d have gone straight to T-Mobile and had this fixed but 10 minutes after I gave up working on my phone, my mom had a stroke so after being with her at the hospital since all this happened 2 Fridays ago, I’m now at home with my mom waiting for a phone call from the home nurse company so I can get someone to look after my mom so I can get my phone fixed, but wouldn’t you know it, the day I really needed internet access to be stable because the landline is connected to it, as of the time of this writing, which is prime business hours in which you generally get important call backs, my internet has been down for almost an hour so Spectrum can do maintenance of the servers. I thought you’d know to wait until after business hours to do that Spectrum people.
