Dad to 5 mad rascals. @QPR & @England home and away. Follow England rugby and cricket as much as I can, and a few Euro clubs I’ve picked up on down the years.
@Nick___Collins Absolute nonsense. You only have to look around Europe to see a wiser issue still. And as a Liverpool fan, you really ought to know better.
I do wonder if the flag shaggers who love this shirt know that Saint George was a Turkish man of Palestinian descent that was martyred in Palestine having never once set foot in England?
Stop regurgitating this shite.
It’s revenue related, and always will be. When the women’s game creates and makes more money, the clubs and players will benefit. Big money in the men’s game is a relatively new thing too.
It’s not hard to understand, nor is it sexism or misogyny.
Steph Houghton speaking on England’s men being paid more than the women:
“When I looked at what [England’s men] were getting for commercial deals that really opened my eyes. The men and women play for the national teams of the same country and yet they’re getting 15 times more than us. How is that fair? I got the bit between my teeth and I was like: ‘OK, we need to do something about that.’”
@Biggun26_ They didn’t rule in favour of Boro. They found against the club that systematically broke the rules. And if you really think that a bloke who played 45 mins for Boro over 30 years ago is the issue here, then yes, you’re absolutely mad.
@RalphInUEFA Turn by turn you’re becoming a laughing stock. If you think there’s grounds to legally pursue the EFL, do you not think other clubs may still want to dig?
The punishment was not disproportionate. The review panel was not biased. You need to move on before you make it worse.
