In my #comm22 class we were assigned to look at salaries and demographics of different media fields. I was most surprised at the low number of recording personnel hired because of the importance a good recording engineer has in a studio session. I was also moderately surprised..

... that there were more girls on average on social media than males. At this point I figured it would be close to identical, due to, the amount of people currently on all forms of social media.
