@folsomwrites Obviously opportunities for IRL jobs always come at different times but definitely brutal timing for Lamphere when the summer has started. I would assume this late in the game it’ll be an internal promotion but that’s a big shakeup less than 2 months before 1st official practice.
@BrzezinskiAlec@RunningGerhardt@MHSAA Maybe I’m not familiar enough with it. Is this something that has been done for Baseball in the past also? I didn’t look deep into it so I’m unsure. I saw that and just assumed it’s a possibility for all district sports not named Football.
@BrzezinskiAlec@RunningGerhardt@MHSAA I don’t know if this is a guarantee albeit it is the norm.
For Baseball this year they paired every 1st and 2nd district with every 7th and 8th district to create the region, then with districts 3/4/5/6 in a region. Repeat the process for every 8 districts.
@CB_Wolverines@blashdril There is no combination of uniforms in either team’s history (excluding Hartford) that is a great matchup, but the options for the previous uniforms are so much better. We go from an average matchup to abhorrently bad. Vegas @ Carolina’s old reds also would be decent enough.
@eke03official @the_det_times Those are the worst uniforms to maybe ever grace the Lions wardrobe, for sure. The all blues aren’t much different besides the fact that it’s a much better color but still a bodysuit.
@Ryan_POD All blue should be a 1 or 2 times per year changeup, but with all black being worn at least twice each year, all blue should be once at most. Silver pants are far superior at home. Away as well, although the others still work on the road. Bring back the silver pants as the main.
@Cam3ronSparks@ZachCohenFB None. There are decent ones that can be worn as an alternate uniform for 1 or maybe 2 home games, but every NFL team’s primary home jersey looks better with pants that don’t match.
@eke03official@the_det_times The all blues are pretty trash. Maybe as a changeup to get people excited and do a blue out is fine, but the overall look sucks. It’s like a pajama body suit. Silver pants rock and are a glorious look especially with this new wardrobe.
@dizzle_holly@fashion_nfl The red and black is not good. Can be a hard color scheme to make look good. The blue and gold is great. The current uniforms are nearly perfect template wise. Bring the goat head as the primary logo with the current uniforms/colors and it’s perfection.
@fashion_nfl All Buffalo has to do is bring back the goat head and use their current color scheme/uniform template and they would arguably have the best aesthetics of any team in the NHL.
@goosepoopmi What makes this interesting too is the regions could also vary from what they’ve been. Not necessarily for the sake of your example. When the MHSAA draws regions of 8 I guarantee they come out with different teams than the 2 districts of 4 together, which would also be nice.
@Section344Lions This schedule kind of sucks so far. Chicago on Thanksgiving as the 3rd game in 12 days after a Europe trip. Lose the Pats home game. Week 17 cold game @ Chicago. Let’s assume GB at home W18…that leaves Giants, Saints, Bucs, Jets, & Titans for the only home primetime options 🚮.
@HudlSupport@Hudl Understood. Is there any consideration that New Hudl could have the feature on the left/right side of the screen that Hudl Classic has where you can fast forward/reverse, slow-mo forward/reverse, skip forward/backward a clip?
I think New Hudl would get more traction with this.
@HudlSupport@Hudl is the glitch when watching Hudl Classic that shows a black screen when you toggle between clips going to be resolved anytime soon? It has been an issue for a while. Since New Hudl doesn’t have fast forward/rewind or slow-motion options, classic is way better.
@FromTheSeidline I absolutely agree with you. If it was up to me I’d do it in a heartbeat. Without going sport by sport, I’d like to think every sport would better off with a regionalized format. It gets old seeing the same matchups every postseason, especially in a loaded geographic area.
@FromTheSeidline I, for one, am pleased that they implemented it in football. I also believe it should occur for other sports. But I don’t necessarily see it as a surprise how they’re doing it. My assumption is these 2 years in football are their “trial run” for the future of football and others.
@FromTheSeidline Whilst I believe every sport would benefit from a regionalized model and prefer it, it is certainly easiest to implement in football. For the sport that plays once per week on Friday night, travel concerns loom smaller. Sports that play 2-3 times per week feel tougher.
@Section344Lions@NFL I’m not 100% sure on this, but I believe teams have the option to request their bye week after an international game or not. Some teams believe (based on some evidence per a guy I talked to) that it is Bette to not have the bye directly after.
