I've never seen a 7:40 a.m. start in HS hockey -- until today.
Alarms set for 5:15 a.m. A 5:45 a.m. bus ride. No matter. Canton and Reading treated us to a terrific contest.

First look at the 16 teams in the Ed Burns Coffee Pot tournament. Some of the best public schools in the state are involved, with action beginning on Jan. 25.
Top eight to the Doherty division, next eight to the Brinn division. Intriguing matchups all over.

Early Coffee Pot Tournament rankings!
Reminder that the T8 seeds play in the Doherty division, B8 play in the Brinn.
The all-publics in-season tournament kicks off on the 25th. Plenty of time for shuffling in the seeding.
