@AlanIAbramowitz FYI the holdup for Alaska's election results was due to the wait for absentee ballots (which is how many Alaskans vote), not ranked-choice voting (which is virtually instantaneous once ballots are in).

@GreaterGeorgia With Ranked-choice (instant runoff) voting, a vote for a third party would not be wasted if they don't win. Already used in Maine, Alaska, and dozens of cities-- and it works... It's good that Ga. requires 50%+ but we can do it without having to go to the polls twice...

@PoliticsGPB Who voted for Walker? Rural White folks... but not Black folks. Aside from Georgia's cities, the vote for Walker mostly mtched the racial makeup of each county.... i.e. where Blacks are 20% of population, Walker won 80/20... where Blacks are 40%, he won 60/40, etc.

@dvdnetflix please consider modifying your web search so users can find movies by actor or (especially) director... for example, I cannot find movies by Buster Keaton (or anyone else) without knowing the movie's title...makes it hard to see what's available...
