@elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy Incentives are important ... you get more of what you incentivize. Incentivizing waste is a problem. My idea in the following post may not be perfect, but perhaps others can take the idea and improve on it, to incentivize saving instead of wasting.

DOGE Idea Post 6: @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy. (cont’d) The lowest levels of budget control/spending authority might earn 2%, for example, with higher levels earning decreasing %’s of savings achieved, up to a total payout of 5% of savings.

DOGE Idea Post 5: @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy. Solution: Bonus example: Establish a pool of bonus dollars (perhaps 5% in total) to be allocated across the various levels of budgetary control and spending authority.

DOGE Idea Post 4: @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy. Solution: Create an incentive to save money! Create an annual bonus payout for gov’t employees with spending authority who save money vs. their budget, while still achieving their departmental objectives.

DOGE Idea Post 3: @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy. Problem: The fear is that if you don’t spend all of your budget $ then your budget for the next year will be reduced. So, there is an incentive to waste money in order to keep a higher budget for the next year.

@jaynewland @DrMichaelLBrown I can certainly use John 3:16 and “whosoever believes” as part of my Gospel presentation and invitation for someone to believe. But in the context with Nicodemus it was not an invitation. You missed the context in both verses you referenced.

@CalebAllen77 @DrMichaelLBrown I don’t worry about whether or not anyone is elect. I just share the Gospel and pray that people will respond in faith and repentance. IMO it is a waste of time worrying or wondering if anyone is elect. Just preach the Gospel! I assume we can all agree on that.

@jaynewland @DrMichaelLBrown The context is not an invitation. It is a private conversation at night. Christ is shocking Nicodemus by telling him salvation is for people of all nations and not just for the Jews. It is for anyone who believes! And yet also only for those who believe.

@jaynewland @DrMichaelLBrown You left out the group to whom 2 Pet. 3:9 was addressed. “The Lord is patient toward YOU, not willing that any should perish” meaning any of “you” i.e. those to whom the letter is written. “To those who have attained a faith of equal standing with ours” 2 Pet 1:1 i.e. Christians
