@TedFromThePWO Kenny Omega wins the world title at Beach Break.
A week later, he celebrates his victory, only to be blindsided by Swerve Strickland, who makes his intentions very clear…
July 26th, Omega vs Swerve (the tiebreaker) for the AEW World Championship at the Redemption pay-per-view.
@raulisonline Honestly, I’d be cool if they expounded on what they did with ALL IN: Texas and just make every pay-per-view a 1:00pm EST show.
It’d make Saturdays and/or Sundays feel like an event in the United States, and it’d be easier for fans in other countries to watch the shows live.
@NotThatTomGreen Hot Take…
I think every AEW pay-per-view should have some kind of mini-convention attached to it
Wrestler meet-and-greets, a live press conference on the day before the show, maybe even some ROH matches throughout the week (posted to YouTube on the first Tuesday after the PPV)
@imstevefinn@reigns_era Okay, so quick update:
Oba gave up his title opportunity to fight Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Roman just accepted a challenge from Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
Sami won’t be appearing until SmackDown, and Jey’s probably coming after him.
@imstevefinn@reigns_era Slight restructuring…
Sami Zayn comes out to celebrate his win.
The Bloodline comes out to congratulate/acknowledge Sami Zayn.
Oba Femi interrupts and makes his presence known to both champions, reminding them that one of them is going to have to face The Ruler at SummerSlam.
@ProWFinesse I’d kinda love to see him pull a Darby Allin and just defend the title on SmackDowm every week until SummerSlam.
In kayfabe, you could say he’s doing it to prove what a good person he is for giving away these opportunities so freely (lending to his "Last Real Good Guy" persona).
@winterweather I don’t mean to feed into the delusion, but…
The Dogs are feuding with Cope & Cage and The Bang Bang Gang concurrently.
Switchblade is obviously the leader of the BBG, but he and Cope also teamed up together against The Death Riders (who have loose affiliations with The Dogs).
@KryceksAngel@TheDrainmaker@zacksabrejr ZSJ defeats Mox at Wembley Stadium for the Continental Championship, becoming the first NJPW-contracted wrestler to win singles gold in AEW.
ZSJ goes on to defend the title in NJPW (and occasionally in AEW), and goes onto become the first NJPW-contracted wrestler to win the C2.
@Peps_Wrestling@LyricWrestling ALL IN: Zero Hour

@WrestleFeatures Honestly, if you’re gonna keep the fan vote, you might as well do a Round Robin tournament.
Have everyone go head to head with each other, and then let the fans vote on which superstars deserve to move on to the semifinals.
From there, it’s a standard elimination tournament.
