After last nights performance the Junior from Mendon, MA, AJ Cook. set a new program record for base on balls in a season.

In game one of the double header against Albertus Magnus last night, Cook broke the record and finished the night adding four more, now sitting at 35 BB's.

A quarter of the way through the season, the Blazers rank in the top 50 in the country in a number of key stats, including 2nd in On Base Percentage, 5th in Runs Per Game, and 30th in ERA! Elms Baseball will play their home opener on Thursday against Springfield College!

The Blazers begin the season with two wins, 7-1 and 18-2, led by a grand slam from Nate Kelley, and back-to-back home runs from Aaron Young and CJ Moriarty. Austin Roy (5), George Chaya (4), and Tyler Galenski (4) added multiple hits on the day.

The Blazers move to 3-4 on the season behind a complete shut out with 9 K’s from Freshman CJ Kuentzel (2-0), who took a perfect game into the 7th. Austin Roy and Justin Miller led the way offensively, going 2-3 while driving in five runs in a 9-0 victory.

Blazers defeat WNEU 5-4 to move to 2-0 on the season! Cam Griffen led the way offensively with 3 hits and 3 RBI’s, while Nate Ayala added a 2 RBI double. Kevin Banas earned the save with two scoreless innings of relief! The Blazers are back in action this Friday in Florida!
