Mukhtar, you are sixty years old and your job title is a Twitter bio. Four decades claiming activist credentials. Four decades of quote-tweeting people you pretend to despise while begging them to notice you. The Southall Youth Movement fought actual fascists with fists and bricks. You fight with notifications turned on.

You call yourself Managing Director of the SYM Movement. You are the only employee. The entire board. You hold meetings with yourself in the mirror and approve your own tweets by committee. This is not activism. This is a man with a smartphone and a desperate need to be seen before he dies.

"Reputational analysis." You have rebranded unemployment as consultancy. You spent years calling people racists online and when one sued you, you celebrated because he dropped the case. That is your life's work. Not policy changed. Not lives improved. A failed libel suit and a GoFundMe for legal fees. You peaked in court defending tweets at sixty.

You mock Rupert Lowe for learning from Elon Musk. Where did you learn your trade, Mukhtar? From scrolling. From the same algorithm. From quote-tweeting Laurence Fox and Tommy Robinson and every other figure you claim to oppose while building your entire following off their content. You are a remora with a verified badge, feeding off sharks you claim to hunt.

The original SYM fought the National Front in the streets of Southall. You fight for likes in the comments. They organised communities. You organise pile-ons. They took beatings. You take screenshots. And at sixty, you are still playing Twitter warrior, still pretending that managing a social media account constitutes leadership, still believing that calling people names online is resistance.

You have not defeated fascism. You have monetised opposition to it. Turned resistance into content. Turned struggle into engagement metrics. The only reputation you have analysed is your own desperately, pathetically, checking the analytics on your own irrelevance while the clock runs out.

You are not an activist. You are a reply guy with a LinkedIn profile and a GoFundMe link. The Southall Youth Movement would not recognise you. The only movement you have managed is the cursor between the block and quote-tweet buttons.
