Taiwan’s voters delivered a stinging rebuke of China’s rising authoritarianism on Saturday by re-electing President Tsai Ing-wen, who vowed to preserve the island’s sovereignty in the face of Beijing’s intensifying efforts to bring it under its control

@Topgolf I've been trying to cancel my league registration for a week now, but I've gotten 0 response from customer service. Can you help me resolve this? I was excited to try leagues out, but surprise business trips will prevent me from attending.
R1D77 of #100DaysOfCode completed. Made a few tweaks to my react project, wrote some comments, and deployed it to my github pages. https://t.co/jUeZkYTwti
R1D76 of #100DaysOfCode completed. Added a play/stop button and did more CSS work on my React project. Will upload my first draft of the site tomorrow.
I wrote a short fetch script that would make an api request and execute it in the chrome console. I would then look at the response in the network tab and compare the response to what I was currently hearing on the stream. Manually doing this repeatedly involved many clicks. https://t.co/XMTrBhJVeQ
I'm interested in where you got with this, and how you are testing. I've only had shaky results when pulling from the Composer API to retrieve the Now Playing. https://t.co/Mea0lsqDKh
Today, I made this CodePen to make it a little easier to compare the tracklist and onNow results of an Composer API request. https://t.co/eFbxX3U9lA
Using this, I am seeing that onNow actually tends to hold the correct song...usually.
R1D72 of #100DaysOfCode completed. Worked on how to identify what song is currently playing on the @WYEP stream in my React app. Started with NPR's Composer API (failed), looked at trying to retrieve the stream's metadata (failed), and then looked at the API again (success!!!?).
R1D71 of #100DaysOfCode completed. Turns out my React radio player was still constantly downloading from the radio stream when stopped. Not exactly ideal for mobile users on a limit. It was a royal pain in the butt to get it to properly stop and then restart.
R1D70 of #100DaysOfCode complete! First 90% of the time trying to play a radio stream in my react app. Found success. Last 10% of the time trying some things until I finally called it a day. My React app can now stream a radio station with play/stop functionality.
R1D69 of #100DaysOfCode completed. Continued working on my react app. As of right now, it's more of a playground where I'm building random components (a toggle-able clock atm). Reinforced my knowledge about the scope of 'this' and using setState to change state variables.
