@theesk@bigpablo42 So post richarlison sale and all that said, how much can we spend now this window or is it a case of as much as we want but then we will be in the same position next year selling someone else to balance next years books?
@mattwill1982@theesk It’s been said that if we sell by June 30th it will balance the books in relation the this and next years financial tax year. Balancing the books and selling before the gives us a bit more room to move when doing deals from July 1st onwards as it’s a new tax year the. 👍
@EfcSl@danholling @manny_efc 10% of anythin above £40m I think it was said. Accepting 40m plus a £20m rated player wether you like him or not saves us £6m if you just wanted £60m cash instead. Not usually this astute in the market either 😂
@THT1878 I dont see where these financial problems end for us unless you sell the biggest players and start again with younger less known players but even then it’s a risk that they don’t work which has a knock on to not being able to sell them on in a few years for big profit 🤦♂️
@THT1878 Is £5m a yr the highest you can go Baz with fair trading rules I’m guessing? How likely would put naming rights up for grabs now instead of when stadium is complete and use the money for players?
@theesk@ToffeeTVEFC@THT1878 Cheers for that. So if for example richarlisons book price is approx 12m as it stands and we sell for 50m (deduct 5m watford), that would allow 45m spend in accordance to both ffp and p&s?
@_MattyTurnbull@nr1878 Leeds play before us on Sunday. If they lose or draw, we will know a win will keep us up and it’ll be between them and burnley 👍
