Councillor Nathan McCollum‑Pendle (Pendle Rural) telling us at the Trawden Agricultural Show that he and his Reform colleagues won’t be doing the council’s mandatory EDI training.
He calls it “DEI”, the US culture‑war acronym. Here as all but simpletons know it’s EDI - Equality comes first because it’s the legal foundation under the Equality Act 2010.
