Can I declare accrued income this year instead of declaring it next year?

If one self employed business makes a loss, does it off-set against my other business' profit? (as all profits total together to work out final inc. tax & NI)

@HMRCcustomers Also, I have 2 self employed businesses using 3 vehicles. Does the allowance start again per vehicle or just per business?

Then regarding the food allowance, can I claim that daily without keeping the receipts? (I have kept a record of the times I worked)
