@MarkOgge@dowhatonemustdo Davis added, “Boreal fires released nearly twice as much CO2 as global aviation in 2021. If this scale of emissions from unmanaged lands becomes a new normal, stabilizing Earth’s climate will be even more challenging than we thought.”https://t.co/jDoGGqHDih
@PaulineHansonOz Pakistani Born Greens senator Mehreen Faruqi whinges about “you white people” & whine that the Australian parliament speaks English. This is why Pauline Hanson rejects the “multicultural” BS. If you migrate, assimilate or p*ss off back home.
Real professional journalistic freedom of the press, should only include telling the truth and writing the facts without personal bias and hatred.
Not muddling the facts, not giving opinion and outright lying.
The recipient of a dishonest hit piece should be able to defend themselves against the source of the lie.
The Guardian scribbly did 25 hit pieces out of 28 only targeting One Nation.
This is the very reason that people are turning away from MSM.
AKA- Fake news.
Does that same person from the Guardian do the same hit pieces with the Australian Greens and Mahreen Faruki?
Or Anthony Albanese?
It’s the media’s job to scrutinise One Nation.
Unlike the Prime Minister I welcome it.
I’m an elected representative and I should be scrutinised. One Nation is probably the most scrutinised party in the country.
What I won’t stand for is double standards and outright lies from the media.
The Guardian has been caught out purposely manipulating images to make One Nation look “sinister” and now publishing lies.
I will always engage with media in good faith, but the Guardian has proven they are completely biased and won’t provide a balanced view - resorting to lies and manipulation to “get us”.
Media has great power and with that comes great responsibility to make sure their bias doesn’t get in the way of the facts.
On Kristallnacht, November 9, 1938, Aracy de Carvalho watched Hamburg burn.
The next morning she hid a Jewish family in her apartment.
Aracy was 30 — a Brazilian clerk at the Hamburg consulate. A divorced single mother from a small town who spoke German, French, and English. Not a diplomat. Just chief of the Passport Section.
Brazil’s dictator had secretly ordered consulates to reject Jewish visas. Most obeyed. Aracy refused.
She processed Jewish applications, walked them personally to the consul, and got them approved. She worked around the Nazis’ red “J” stamps and sheltered families before they sailed.
In 1938 she partnered with João Guimarães Rosa, the assistant consul. Together they ran a quiet rescue operation for four years. Hundreds of Jews — including the Bertel-Levy, Tuch, and Kazenstein families — reached safety in Brazil.
Aracy never sought credit.
She married Rosa in 1940 and stayed in the background while he became a literary giant.
For decades almost no one knew.
Then survivors spoke.
In 1982 Yad Vashem named her Righteous Among the Nations — the only Brazilian woman ever honored, and the only woman featured in their “Visas for Life” exhibit alongside Wallenberg and Sugihara.
Aracy de Carvalho, the Angel of Hamburg, died in 2011 at 102. A small-town clerk who used a stamp, a signature, and quiet courage to save hundreds of lives and thousands of descendants.
She simply did what her heart demanded when most did not.
I wonder how many people would do the same today?
One day after the U.S. signed a deal with the Islamic Republic، the regime in Iran, handed Parastoo Ahmadi 74 lashes for singing on YouTube.
They call America the Great Satan. And then they flew to the table and signed a deal with the «Devil«. But a woman’s voice scared them more than any superpower ever could.
A regime that whips women for showing their hair and singing, there’s not a normal government.
This is called apartheid against women.
“No one in the Middle East actually blocks intersections to pray in the streets and yell Allahu Akbar. They do it in your countries is because they're trying to assert their religious dominance over you and claim your country and turn it into Sharia law.”
@Kon__K Pauline Hanson stands for an Australian culture which is where all cultures combine to make a united Australia, not the division promoted by the left that leads to atrocities such as the Bondi massacre.
@AlinejadMasih My husband and I were charged with 19 counts disorderly conduct and threatened with 10 years In prison each for protesting the cover up of the abuse of our daughter in progressive Portland. Perhaps the women in America are not as free to protest as you think.
@AlinejadMasih Fearing Islam is completely rational. Quran 98.6 says, All non Muslims are worst of the creatures. 9.5 says Kill them wherever you find them. India is 80% Kafir. It’s Muslim population is taught these verses in Madrasa with tax payers money? Aren’t 80% Kafir be fearful?
@AlinejadMasih I hope Israel smashes the IRGC + the evil regime. Not impressed with the peace deal while they are in charge .Not until the Iranian people are free.
Every world leader needs to stand up against sharia law. Prove they really care about women's rights.
@UNHumanRights is useless
I asked American students why they don’t protest when women are whipped and shot in Iran and Afghanistan.
The answers expose a contradiction nobody wants to talk about.
We must change the narrative so the younger generation stops lending cover to Hamas, Hezbollah, Taliban and the Islamic Republic. That's why I choose to travel and speak to students face-to-face. I listen first, without judgment. Then I share what it means to live under Sharia law not as an abstraction, but as a lived reality.
Truth is not a phobia. Calling out the whipping of women is not hate. Staying silent about it is.
Renewables carry an endless price tag to replace the entire fleet every 10 to 25 years in an endlessly repeating loop.
The cost is incalculable, and it will no longer involve the same opportune subsidies to maintain this perpetual wagon train on the trail to a landfill near you. Every turbine standing today will need to be decommissioned and replaced at least once before 2050. Without a cost-effective way to recycle fibre-reinforced polymers, the majority of these massive blades are destined for eternity—buried forever in graveyards.
China, Europe, and the US account for the vast majority of this waste, creating a mountainous industrial heartache that many Net Zero models simply haven't priced in.
Research modeling the waste stream indicates that the burden will not be distributed evenly. The three largest contributors account for the vast majority of decommissioned blade material: China (40% of global blade waste), Europe (25%) and the US (16%).
A study led by Professor Peter Majewski from the University of South Australia confirms that tens of thousands of wind turbine blades could end up in landfill by the end of the decade.
In his findings published in AIMS Energy, Professor Majewski argues that a self-regulated market will not solve the issue fast enough. He suggests forcing manufacturers to take responsibility for the blades at their end-of-life stage, and wind farm operators should provide pre-funded disposal solutions during the initial planning approval process.
The green energy 'miracle' is a massive unfolding crisis.
“This budget is in chaos, it’s in tatters, because the government simply got it wrong from the start. There’s no point going on with these carve-outs, scrap the bill, scrap the budget and start again. Says @AngusTaylorMP
They are taking this country in the wrong direction and some of the very hardest working people in this country are being told they are not going to get the reward for the hard work they do every day.
It is not good enough. Scrap the taxes, scrap the budget.”
That would be the smart thing to do. But are @AlboMP & @JEChalmers capable of admitting they’ve stuffed up? Not likely.

SPECTATOR — AUSTRALIA
✍🏽Alexandra Marshall
By now, everyone reading this is aware of GetUp!’s stunt at the National Press Club which has since been referred to the AFP by a very angry management. The last time GetUp! put some effort (and money) into politics, they helped One Nation deliver a stunning victory in Farrer. Odds are, what happened today will push Pauline higher in the opinion polls. It certainly cheered up the beginning of her speech.
Personally, I found the Q&A section infinitely more interesting. The best way I can describe the experience of the Australian viewer is one of catharsis. We are finally watching the left-wing mainstream press treated with a dose of contempt. Some of the answers dished out by Pauline surely rank high in the list of fantasy answers that other conservative politicians have thought – but never dared voice.
You don’t have to be a One Nation voter, or even sympathetic to the populist movement, to recognise the benefit of cutting the media flock back down to a manageable level of sanity. Pauline has been side-lined by the media for so long that she has no interest in their good opinion, unlike members of the Coalition who often hold their tongues in situations such as these.
If nothing else, today was about the voice of the Australian people piggybacking on Pauline Hanson.
*Criticisms of mainstream policy that we were never permitted to make have finally been tossed into the political arena for debate.
#And that is healthy for democracy.
@MKB27@GuardianAus Whoah. Settle down tiger. That's a lot of bile. Are you triggered?
My explanation stands. Questions are fair; accusations framed as questions are biased.
We need more journalists, and fewer activists.
