The White House could require reporters to submit their questions in writing and then WH staff could provide written answers. It would put a stop to the reality television show known as the daily press briefing. Let's see how the pampered press corps reacts when their precious TV time is shut down.

Or the administration could simply refuse to answer any more questions from the press. The president is not constitutionally obligated to grant interviews or answer questions from the media. Trump should pull a Biden and go stealth.

The five networks that make up the pool - including Fox — issued a joint statement condemning the Trump ban on CNN, PMS-NOW and Politico.

“The public has a vital interest in receiving accurate, independent information about its government,” the networks said. “No administration should restrict a news organization because it objects to its reporting.”

The problem is that the networks are not providing accurate information about the government."

There is absolutely no difference between the newsrooms at Fox and CNN or PMS-NOW.

The only question is whether President Trump will pull the plug on administration officials doing interviews on Fox.
