I do not believe it is very likely that the parties will be in a position to file a stipulation for dismissal within 90 days. There’s too much to be done, but they might be able to finalize a settlement by then. That means the 9/8 zoom hearing could turn into must watch TV.
MWC/PAC Settlement:
The Court approved the parties stipulation to stay the litigation and vacated the hearing. However, the court made it clear a stipulation for dismissal (often filed after settlement payment has been made) needs to be filed by September 1, 2026.
If the parties do not file a stipulation for dismissal by the deadline, they have to appear in court on 9/8 to show cause as to why the case should not be dismissed. The parties will also have to file a response to the order detailing their efforts to finalize the settlement.
@ByChrisMurray From a metrics perspective, Nevada’s game against Saint Mary’s at Tahoe Blue Events Center will be Nevada’s best non-conference game since _______?
Schedule News: Nevada will host Pacific as part of its 2026-27 non-conference schedule. The date is set for Wednesday December 2nd. The guarantee is $80,000.
We have some kick times and TV info!
I am pleasantly surprised by 8 or 9 games on national TV. I view this as a great sign for Nevada moving forward in the new-look MWC. Having 5 of 6 home games on national TV is big time.
Overall, I think this is great news for Nevada Football. I am excited to get some more clarity surrounding the remaining TBD kick times. I’m excited for a fun season at Mackay this fall.

In terms of kick times, I want to send a personal shout to to CBS Sports, the CW, and anyone else involved in making the first 2 games have 7:30 kickoffs. Day kicks in late August/early September are brutal.
Also, only having 1 game get pushed to a Friday is a victory for fans.
