@bmontgomeryshj Hi Bob, there were around 5,000 people at the Trump rally in your state according to the secret service and just the visual alone. Not tens of thousands. I'm not sure you're really into the facts. Blessings!
@PastorBatchelor When you say yes to Jesus you acknowledge those sins and He is faithful and just to forgive, because in His mind, He has forgiven. That's justification by FAITH. The cross justifies mankind's existence, otherwise we'd be dead (Rom. 5:18).
@PastorBatchelor "I have blotted out like a thick cloud your transgressions, and like a cloud your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you" (Isa. 44:32). All of mankind has been forgiven in Christ (Rom. 5:18). If not, the cross of Christ is incomplete, a limited atonement. New light is needed
@CarlosHappyNPO We moved to central Washington (pre-COVID), and went to the local SDA church. We observed: Trump hats, immigration hate, local Republican work within the church building, and lots of Trump supporters. They told us! My wife is Native American/Spanish. We moved on.
@HeatherTDay 2/ Social Justice: Perhaps a line is needed between "secular social justice" and "Christian social justice." Christ and Him crucified needs to be the universal center of true social justice. It was conservative right wing relgio-politico crowd (Pharisees) that crucified Christ.
@HeatherTDay 1/ Politics are of the world (conflict & debate). "You are not of the world." Not with parties, but with individuals. Social justice? YES! But were not the body of R's or D's. Can Christianity separate the body from the Head?
Blessings.
@HeatherTDay That which is thought to be Christianity, and discussed as Christianity, is not the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but the visionary politics of an unknown future. {March 18, 1897, EJ Waggoner}
Blessings.
@michaelcoren@TorontoStar You wrote: "Christianity isn't easy. ..."
Jesus says, "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matt. 11:30). Thank you Jesus, I believe you, amen.
@michaelcoren@bernie8859 Regarding "Christianity is complicit in Slavery"
For those who are true followers of Jesus it would be more clear to say: "FALSE Christianity is complicit in Slavery". True Christians don't own people. .... Blessings.
