The communists are taking over the Democrat Party. Mamdani backed 3 congressional candidates in NY Democrat primaries tonight.

All 3 won and not by small margins.

Two took out powerful Democrat incumbents. All 3 are self proclaimed socialists but all 3 are really communists.

One also boasted about wiping her dirty hands on the American flag. They all demonize 🇺🇸.

Democrats are a socialist party right now but with Mamdani followers taking control, they’ll soon be an outright communist party.

The consequences are dire. If they win, they’ll destroy everything and if they lose, they destroy everything they can get their hands on.

It’s a lose-lose. The only way out is to beat them soundly in 2028 and 2034, with Republicans using our power to utterly destroy them. We’ll have to use every lever of power to make examples out of the worst of them and then some. An opposition like this only respects strength. You can’t pull your punches or hope for some moment of clarity to arrive. It won’t. How you use your power is the only clarity that can break through.

If not, they will rise to total power at some point and it will lead to atrocities that none of us want to live to see. The communist threat is real.

Columbus Day has always been about honoring the courage, sacrifice, and contribution of the Italian-American community to this city and this nation.

For generations of Italian immigrants who came to New York with nothing but a dream, the statue of Christopher Columbus stood as a symbol that they belonged. It represented acceptance, dignity, and the belief that in America, hard work and family values could overcome prejudice and poverty. I fought to protect the Columbus statue when others wanted to tear it down — and as Mayor, I will continue to defend it. It is part of our shared history and a tribute to the generations of Italian-American families who built this city brick by brick.

It’s disgraceful that some politicians like @ZohranKMamdani, who thrives on division, have hurled profanities at the statue, given what it represents to so many Italian Americans.

New York is a city of many cultures and many stories, and real leadership means respecting all of them. We can honor every culture without erasing any of them: that’s what unity looks like, and that’s the city I believe in.

🤝 Violence interrupters
🔫 Expand gun buybacks to get firearms out of circulation
📍 Precision policing

We’ve done it before. We’ll do it again.
