The Alva Ladybug basketball team defeated Newkirk 41-28 to move to 12-3 on the season. The Ladybugs entered this week ranked #9 in 3A and now travel to the Pawhuska Tournament January 19-21.

The Alva Goldbug boys basketball team captured the runner-up trophy at the 54th Annual Wheat Capital Tournament. The Goldbugs (#6 ranked; 10-2 on the season) were defeated by Kingfisher (#1 ranked in 4A; 9-2 on the season). Congratulations on a great tournament! #WinTheDay

All-Star weekend for KS HS basketball players in Salina at Mabee Arena on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan! Women’s game begins at 5:00PM and men’s game at 7:30PM on Saturday. Admission is 5$. Get to Salina and watch Kansas’ best high school basketball players compete 1 more time!
