There’s something about summer heat that makes everything feel a little more reckless, a little more real. The kind of heat that sticks to your skin, makes you move slower, talk softer but feel everything deeper.
This one? It hit different. We were supposed to be chillin’, just vibing out. But when I saw him, shirt off, sun bouncing off his skin like it knew it had something worth shining on, I felt that pull. You know the one. The kind that grabs you in your chest and lower.
He came in close, lips brushing mine like a dare, and that was it. Nothing else mattered, not the weather, not the neighbors, not the time. Just sweat, heavy breathing, and that look in his eye that said he wanted all of me. The kind of moment that makes the world go quiet and loud at the same time.
“RNA” by Katori Walker had that, hypnotic hum underneath it all. And when “Summer’s Hot” came on, it was like the whole day leaned in and whispered, “Let it happen.” So I did.
Because summer brings the heat but I bring the fire. And if you know, you know.
