Since the department of education was formed in the 70s, test scores have plummeted and the USA has dropped near the bottom of developed countries.

So yeah, it’s failed its mission and proved counterproductive, so why shouldn’t it be dissolved? Test scores might rise and we would safe taxpayer money. Remember we have a $36 trillion debt.
