18 months ago, I was first in the scene to a bike accident in which a 16yo lost his life there and then and a 14yo who was severely injured. Today, I took the first step in actually dealing with this by arranging counselling.
@PaulSenior1 Hoping Enrique feels like he's proven a point now and wants to come to the Reds to put an end to this NFL shite we're seeing every week in the Prem.
@PhilBlundell 4 of them are coming back from a serious injury, a midfielder that runs like he's got muddy wellies on, a 17 year old on one wing, a striker that loves a little 4-6 week injury, and another that probably won't be seen until March.
Fun isn't it...
@PaulSenior1 Played 100+ PL games (missed 12 through injury), in that "senior" age bracket of 25+ and would hopefully take some pressure off Jacquet and Leoni. Just don't want us doing another Guehi and waiting ages, because Brighton won't fuck around like that.
@beth_lindop Van Hecke is into his last 12 months and ranks fairly well at progressive passing. Something Konate lacks. Could make sense if Brighton play ball.
@PaulSenior1 Van Hecke is into his last 12 months and ranks decent in progressive passing. Konate for all his strengths isn't the best at passing forwards, to point teams would either let him have the ball, or just set up in a way Van Dijk couldn't use his switch or pass into midfield.
@LFCApproved All in the knowledge that they definitely have to play 48 games next season as a minimum. Leoni, Bradley and Ekitike coming back from a serious injury too.
@LFCApproved Having a midfielder like Gravenberch that can break lines by carrying the ball next to a midfielder in Wharton that breaks lines with forward passing will be really helpful towards getting the best out of Wirtz. That's all without fitting Szoboszlai in as well 🤯
That 2-1 defeat away at City in 18/19 is still the best game of footy I've ever seen. Two of the very best teams, with the best coaches, just going at it. Incredible.
Be arsed with Arsenal winning the league whilst everyone else figures their shit out.
🚨🚨🎙️| Mikel Arteta: “I was supposed to be here at London Colney watching the game with the boys and certain staff, but I couldn’t do it.”
“Before the game, I had to leave. I couldn’t bring the energy that I wanted.”
“I went home, I went into the garden, I built a fire on my own. I didn't watch it.”
“My son opens the door, started to cry and said: ‘we’re champions daddy.” ♥️
@RorySmith This may be a bit of recency bias. But I think the current physicality and set-piece set ups we're seeing are more of an unpleasant watch than we've seen in the last 25-30 years.
