I’ve been living in Europe for the past two years. My parents are from here. Half of my cousins are throughout Europe, which I’ve traveled to. It sucks in comparison. I’m glad they left the continent. You should consider yourself luck you live in Poland. It hasn’t been destroyed yet.
@PolishPalace@PigWithWings82 I’m stationed in Germany. This makes no sense. My apartment is 35 Celsius at night because I’m on the top floor. This place is a joke. I sleep in it without bitching though unlike the Europeans.
A perfect Thursday in Paris:
10:00 - Wake up drenched in sweat, windows closed to keep the heat out
11:00 - Turn off the fan to reduce electricity use
12:00 - Walk outside into the 43°C weather
13:00 - Observe five adult Indian men swimming naked in public fountains
14:00 - Visit grandma to turn her AC off to save the climate
15:00 - Sit in a café with no AC, discuss global warming danger with a Somali waiter who doesn't speak French
17:00 - Buy Evian water for €12
19:00 - Eat baguette and post on Twitter how Europe has the highest quality of life
I arrived home from the 4 day Memorial Day weekend last night at 2AM in Germany. My top floor apartment was 89F. I slept fine despite being hot. I really don’t know how people die in this weather.
