This 3p per mile tax thing is tolerable on its own, but don’t forget Ev’s will be paying £195 or £625 if over 40k, or 50k if new, a year from April too.

When I bought my ev car none of these taxes were included.

So that’s around a grand a year in tax including the new per mile tax!

@KateFantom Intresting review, I keep finding that non tesla ev’s seem to have overly light steering and very delayed TC, ends up spinning and gives v.low confidence of grip and cornering.
Putting more power into a cheap car with low mechanical grip is a recipe for disaster

@sarah_go_green Amazon fire tablet, running “fully kiosk” £84 from Currys. It uses front camera as approach sensor so it turns on when you are close. Really neat
