TODAY I CONDUCTED A MASS BURIAL FOR 22 CHRISTIANS KILLED IN KAWEL COMMUNITY, BOKKOS LGA
Today was one of the most painful days of my life.
With tears in my eyes, I stood before twenty-two graves in Kawel Community, Mushere District of Bokkos LGA, Plateau State, where I conducted the mass burial of twenty-two Christians killed during the tragic attack of June 21, 2026.
Just days ago, they were with their families—sharing meals, laughing, praying, and looking forward to tomorrow. Today, their loved ones laid them to rest.
I watched mothers mourn their children, children cry for parents who will never return, wives weep for their husbands, and elderly parents bury sons and daughters they hoped would one day bury them.
One child asked, “Who will take care of me now?” Another cried, “Why did they take my father away?”
These twenty-two lives were not numbers. They were fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters—people created in the image of God, loved by their families, and full of dreams.
As the graves were covered with earth, one question echoed in my heart: How many more innocent lives must be lost before peace comes to our land?
To those in authority, I ask: Do these lives matter? Do these grieving families matter? How many more communities must endure such pain before lasting protection is provided?
Yet even in our sorrow, we hold on to God’s promise:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
To every widow, orphan, and grieving family, may God comfort and strengthen you.
Tonight, many homes will be silent, many chairs empty, and many hearts broken.
May the souls of these twenty-two Christians rest in perfect peace. May their memory never be forgotten. And may God bring lasting peace to Plateau State and comfort to every family left behind.
Amen.
Terrorists are killing you , you came out to protest then police and army are attacking you ?
That should tell y'all that you don't need protests what you need is revolution ✌️
Eight innocent women and children braiding and peeling groundnuts under a tree, sprayed with bullets in the Foron area of Plateau State just moments after church service 💔💔
One of the abducted students is reportedly seriously sick. She is just a 1-year-old child, and we may lose her at any moment because she urgently needs medical attention.
Nigeria Government, please do something!
Today makes it 16 days that these people have been held captive in the bush, under heavy rain and unbearable sun, with no food and no water.
Nigeria Government, please act. This is not the kind of Nigeria we want.
Do something before we lose more of these children in the bush.
Out of the 7 teachers who were abducted, Mr. Oyedokun M. O. has sadly passed away. Six teachers remain in captivity with the children.
Out of those six, another person has already been picked to send a new message, the same way they used Mr. M. O. Oyedokun.
Ahhh, Nigeria Government, please do something!
These children are our future. They are the leaders of tomorrow. Among them are future doctors, governors, senators, and honorable leaders.
Please do not allow their lives and dreams to be destroyed.
God, arise and rescue these children. Deliver them from the hands of these evil people.
Please share this message so it can reach everyone, including the international community, and so they can see the pain and suffering these families are going through.
May God heal the sick child and safely deliver all the captives from this terrible situation.
HEARTBREAKING: Her 10-month-old baby was cut in half with a knife in front of her, her husband shot dead, and she watched them split her second child's skull with a machete. They also cut off one of her hands.
This is life for Christians in Nigeria. The media remains silent.
46 children are in terrorists den.
46 children are in terrorists den.
46 children are in terrorists den.
The Nigerian Government is doing nothing.
46 children are in terrorists den.
46 children are in terrorists den.
46 children are in terrorists den.
The Nigerian Government is doing nothing.
Please share this for the world to see.
It only takes one minute to share. 💔💔
Let me be honest. I wanted to stay Muslim so badly.
Not even because of God at first, but because of the life attached to it.
My dad’s businesses were waiting for me. Signed and ready.
My mom’s community. Doctors, lawyers, politicians. Connections everywhere.
Success was laid out in front of me.
There was even an arranged marriage lined up. A doctor. Beautiful future. House. Wedding. Stability.
All I had to do was say one sentence:
“Yeah, I still believe.”
That was it.
Keep the money.
Keep the family approval.
Keep the life.
But here’s what ruined it for me:
I could not unsee Jesus.
Once I really read the Quran and compared it to the Gospel, I couldn’t force myself back into pretending.
And honestly, knowledge becomes heavy at that point.
Because I didn’t leave Islam to rebel.
I left because I could not betray what I believed was true.
No business opportunity, no relationship, no comfortable future was worth denying the King who gave His life for me.
So yeah, my life would have been easier if I stayed.
But when Jesus says, “I am the way,” you don’t answer with, “But the other path feels safer.”
You pick up your cross and walk.
"As a Christian Church leader in Nigeria, if you collect money from the backdoor from the APC and keep quiet while terrorists kiIIing Christians in Nigeria, your children will suffer" —Pastor says as he advocates for self defense.
@NemeremNjoku@asemota These people are systematically hijacking our country and we are here allowing our leaders to play politics with our lives. This is exactly what happened in Turkey.
